There were so many inviting, enthralling and intriguing stands to visit. I’ve done a mini review of my favourite 3 stands from three different areas. I could warble on about so many more though I was like a kid in a sweet shop at this show!
The Regal Rose stand stood out to me because the jewellery was so unusual but really current. Crosses, semi precious stones, brushed silver and angular styles flooded the space in a modern, rock chick/ boho style. The stand was interesting but fresh and uncluttered (apart from when it was bombarded with shoppers!)
Blue Rinse was one of the busiest stands in the vintage section. It’s display of high waisted denim shorts, woollen knitted skirts, vintage stiff collar shirts, Aztec pattered jumpers and trilby hats was eclectic and fun. You had to rummage, like you expect to with vintage but the stand was bold, bright and inviting. Whenever I’m in Leeds I love to visit the store in The Corn Exchange so it was a big highlight seeing that brand name at The Clothes Show!
The Meteor Shower stand was a good display of pretty boho, girly fun pieces. It was in the more premium section (which was harder to get pictures in.) The stand involved antique jewellery, floral headbands, cropped printed jumpers and t shirts, babydoll dresses, midi skirts, peter pan collar shirts and cute cotton scarves. The stand was really quirky with hanging retro lamps, birdcages and fairy lights decorating the edges, very inviting and feminine.
And when I wasn’t exploring everybody else’s stand I was making sure my own ticked over! White Leaf vintage inspired costume jewellery
