So you’ve wrapped all your presents, mulled the wine, basted the turkey and left the mince pies out for santa…but what the hell are you going to wear on Christmas day?

The Christmas day dress is a tricky one, it needs to be smart enough to pass as ‘occasion wear’ but stretchy enough to give way to a Christmas dinner stuffed tummy and comfy enough to lounge around in watching Christmas films and playing festive games. So if you can tear yourself out of your pj’s (and I don’t blame you if you want to leave these on all day,) then I have come up with a few suggestions.

This wine coloured, pleated flowy style seems appropriate as it hides the red wine stains terrifically ;) it also has a stretchy waist band that is cleverly hidden by the triangular shaped top. It is very elegant and modest and the fabric is light. Team with bronze accessories for a fun festive look.

This babydoll shaped, Sarah Jessica Parker style dress is cute and classy. The lace top and twee bow are sweet and girly. This is contrasted with the taupe and black colours. Again it’s stretchy and comfortable :)

This black velvet puff sleeve tunic dress is my favourite! It’s a classic LBD so I spiced it up with a chunky gold stag necklace to make it more interesting. I fell in love with this style it skims across the body and the velvet material is perfect for the festive season!

Dresses allow you to feel feminine, elegant and confident. I hope everybody finds their perfect Christmas cracker dress and get’s fully involved in the festive fashion.

 Happy Christmas everybody!!!! X X
